ABOUT THE SHOW: Storm chasers, as anyone who’s ever seen Twister can tell you, are the scientist and researchers who crisscross the plains of the Central United States — a.k.a. Tornado Alley — looking to mix it up with vicious funnel clouds (and 150-mph winds) that send most sane persons fleeing in the opposite direction. Just as in the movie, there’s both a science team and a research-for-profit team, but, sadly no cows dropping out of the sky.
TYPICAL MOMENT(S): Team Dominator driving their armored chase vehicle into the path of a tornado, to launch probes that will be borne away by the twister and relay valuable data.
